Porter-Cable's coil roofing nailer is a rugged, lightweight piece of equipment that has the capacity to fasten a full bundle of shingles on a single load. The housing is designed to be as light as possible while still offering the durability you expect on a job site--which is nice, considering how unpleasant it is to lug a weighty tool around on a roof. The ergonomic handle and rubber grip are comfortable to hold, even over long periods of time. Because roofing nailers take a beating, no matter how careful the roofer, Porter-Cable souped this nailer up with steel protectors and rubber pads to keep it from sliding and/or falling. Features include a quick-click depth-of-drive adjuster; a powerful, high-performance motor with adjustable exhaust; a refined feed mechanism that includes double cams and guides; and quick-adjust support for all nail lengths. This Porter-Cable model accepts standard 15-degree wire-collated coil framing nails from 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches.
